I doubt it's just the cap. Possibly the pully spraying fluid out since it's going all over the engine. Try taking the belt off and looking around the pump cause it might need to be replaced. I had to do it on my 88 GP. PS fluid will eat away at your serp belt!

Happened to my Jeep, my dad's current Ram, and Bro's Durango.

Just suck some of the PS fluid out. It's slightly over full and when it sloshes it mixes with the air creating a fine-oil mist. When the engine heats up - the air/oil expands and pushes that fine mist out. Fixed it with removing the P/S fluid to the bottom of the cold line while warm!

Hope this helps!

:Edit:

Just really paid attention to winsheild area - you are spraying PS fluid somewhere. Give it a wash, have someone hold it all the way to one side (so the pump whines) and look for the leak!

there's supposed to be an orange seal on the underside of the cap. Clean that up (it should still be good) clean the resevoir opening, make sure you're not overfilled.

I had a leaking PS pump... turns out there's an O-ring between the pump and the resevoir and that had worn away.... A garage charged me $30 to change it out and that fixed my problem. That's probably your problem if you can't find it leaking out of any of your hoses.
