Guest Anonymous
I'm looking for all crosslaces owners here- How do you keep them clean? I usually clean/wash/ etc my car on Sunday, and that inclused scrubbing the crosslaces and using armour all wheel de-grimer, hosing them down, etc, and tacking a sponge in every single web of the wheel. However, by the end of the week, they are dirty again, and have a new layer of road grime. Anyone got any tips or tricks to KEEPING them clean? White93z34
my old cutlass had croslaces on it, aside of doing what your doing there isnan't much however i think there are these aluminum shields you put between the wheel and the rotor ween you put your wheel on the car and its supposed to shield the wheel from brakedust. THe_DeTAiL3R
Mine are black so they hide brake dust real well. The VHT caliper paint I used on them is faily easy to clean off mud and dirt. On the bare aluminum I use Mothers billet aluminum polish.. they get dirty after it rains or whatever so I might as well polish them once a week.
