Supreme Cutlass
I'm getting a digital instrument cluster from dsgrntld187, but he isn't including the senders to replace the switches. Where are they so I can yank them out of a boneyard car (pics pls if at all possible)?
Psych0matt
just stop at a parts store and pick them up, probably not worth the hassle to find something with working ones at a yard. I think most w's came with the switches anyways...

Guest TurboSedan
lol oil pressure switch/sender location is down under the coil packs, right in front of the starter. temp switch/sender location is on the corner of the rear cylinder head, on the driver's/firewall side - it should have a green wire coming off it. cutlsp
there are 2 coolent switches one under the thermostat, one on the rear head. the oil pressure sensor is right by the oil filter with a 3 prong connector on it.
Guest TurboSedan
there are 2 coolent switches one under the thermostat you don't have to change that one. i think the one on the rear cylinder head is for the gauges and the one under the thermostat is for the ECM. Guest TurboSedan
that's wierd. i'm almost positive i had to change the one on the cylinder head when i installed UB3 gauges. that was back in 2001 though.
cutlsp
only reason i meantioned the one under the thermostat is because i replaced both of them but the one under the thermostat is the one i had to replace so one of us is right josh.
