fastbird232 Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 The plastic handle snapped off long ago, and now the end of the cable is fraying from using pliers to pull it. How hard is it to replace the entire cable assembly? Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 it's almost as simple as changing your oil!! use the search function...IIRC this topic was brought up no more than a month ago Quote
fastbird232 Posted June 21, 2005 Author Report Posted June 21, 2005 Ah, didn't remember that one. You're right, I found the thread. Everything I needed to know was in it. Silly me... Quote
gimp19 Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 The cable on my brothers caprice broke and we couldnt find a replacment so we wired a trunk release motor. Now it has a power hood pop, works like a charm. Quote

That would be cool to have...seems like alot of people have broken hood release cables...when mine decides to snap I'll try to do that with the electric popper sounds like a great idea Quote
