Supreme Cutlass
I actually managed to get it out just now. Apparrently the secret is to latch onto the old PCV valve with a small pair of vice-grips, then, while cursing like a sailor really loudly, pull and twist in all directions, then it will come out. Luckly putting the new one in is ALOT easier than taking the old one out.

wbody1973
the pcv valve hooks onto a hose coming from the top of the engine. does anything else connect to the end of the valve? The car starts and runs, but i am still missing a connection off my valve cover. i have a 92 lumina, but the engine is a different year. most of the valve covers have the vacume line plug into the left side, mine plugs in the upper right hand corner. i am assuming that my mechanic missplaces the line Needless to say, i still have a $200 dollar bill that'll never be paid since he left me hanging.
