Oxidized Plastic? Try this....

The black clear plastic piece that houses the backup lights along the trunk of my Monte has been dull for years. Waxing it helped a bit but it still allways looked dull. While I was @ walmart I picked up some stuff called Blue Magic liquid metal polish. I tried it on the piece last night.

 

OMG it looks like new again. I need to work at it a little more (cause it was dark when I did it) but it looks awesome so far. The oxidation is just about all gone and the piece is shiny black again. Looks like this stuff works pretty good on oxidized plastic.
