gp90se
I really should do the rotors on the front of the regal, and since im cheap as shit right now, which would you go with?
digitaloutsider
White-box specials all the way. I stopped turning rotors at $10 a piece when I realized I could get new ones for $4 more.

gp90se
it wont cost me anything to get them cut, but then again, it wont cost me anything for rotors  The reason im thinking of cutting over cheapos is because delco rotors are better quality then any cheapos, and less chance of warping. Justin
If you can get them cut for free and they aren't too skinny I'd cut them, you aren't out anything if they do warp a year or 2 down the road.
gp90se
while were on topic, what size is the caliper bracket bolt, I broke my star set way back when on the GP fixed
digitaloutsider
I'm guessing you meant size. It's T-60.
THe_DeTAiL3R
I got cheapos on my car.. put on back in Sept and they're still good after 15000km
White93z34
for the $13 a pop it costs, do it, and besides its probably past the minimum cuting depth anyhow.
z34Phoenix
well if the rotors you got are already warped, cutting them will just make em warp again and the will warp easyer. i would go with the cheep ones and start saving for a good set. ebay sells drilled and sloted rotors for like $60 check it out. DaveFromColorado
I always try to turn the rotors, or at least get new GOOD rotors, after all, those are the first part to warp, and once those are warped, you can kiss your wheel bearing hub goodbye, as that will start to warp too, and then no matter what rotor you put on there, you'll always have a problem, until you replace your wheel bearing. --Dave. cutty
i usually turn mine, since i can do it for free at work. but other than that i use the cheap rotors.
19Cutlass94
my friend bought the cheap rotors and only got 18,000miles out of them, if you paid more for the American ones, not the chinese ones, they will last much longer, plus you can turn them more and get even more out them. sl3196
18,000 out of a $20 rotor is pretty good in my book.
joey b
Don't buy the cheapos. I replaced my OEM which were holding up just fine to get some "new" ones for cheap. Found I wished I didnt' do that. Why are you going to get the other turned? If they are close or not far out of turning spec (and heck, its free) cut them. Hopefully that is the case. Save your money and get some at least midgrade. You can get them for 30 a piece. Don't get the cheapos. Yeah, they may last long enough for the money, but warped rotors cause more strain on the suspension parts. Do you want to replace all of your balljoints and tierods and bearings?
