rough idle and stalls when stoped stop times

i have a 89 regal wit the 2.8 my car idles rough aroing 600 and 700 rmp and drops down to 400 and 300 sometimes and stalls once in a while i no that it one of the sencers but i dont no wat one wat would make it doo this

anyway, examine your vac lines. thats where my mind wanders to when I hear symptoms like that.

I would check the vacuum lines first as well...also check the "aux" battery post for a loose connection there.

i think its the egr valve

does the cat rattle (if you know what the cat is) its in the center of the car if the front of it is black like its burnt there is your problem :?
