Curlybandit Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 Does anyone know if there are poly/aluminum dogbone's manufactured for the Series I? I was thinking of maybe replacing the one stock dogbone that's in there right now. Quote
mfewtrail Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 From what I can remember, doesn't the Regal use the standard old first gen dogbone? If so, refer to this site/info. http://www.tpsgarage.com/TGP/Engine/motor_mount.htm Quote
DiscoStudd Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 Yep, the L27 uses the same 'ole dogbone that the 2.8's and 3.1's did (complete with the extra hole for holding the motor in the "tilted" position.) Quote
Curlybandit Posted June 15, 2005 Author Report Posted June 15, 2005 So then if I pick up a poly/aluminum dogbone from FFP for a 3.1L this should bolt right in? Quote
99RegalGS Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 Yep, the L27 uses the same 'ole dogbone that the 2.8's and 3.1's did (complete with the extra hole for holding the motor in the "tilted" position.) I've tired putting on of my friend's TGP poly monuts into my Regal once. and I remember that it didn't fit. I think it was too short, but I don't really remember. Quote
