Aftermarket dogbone for 3800 Series I?

Does anyone know if there are poly/aluminum dogbone's manufactured for the Series I? I was thinking of maybe replacing the one stock dogbone that's in there right now.

From what I can remember, doesn't the Regal use the standard old first gen dogbone? If so, refer to this site/info.

Yep, the L27 uses the same 'ole dogbone that the 2.8's and 3.1's did (complete with the extra hole for holding the motor in the "tilted" position.)

So then if I pick up a poly/aluminum dogbone from FFP for a 3.1L this should bolt right in?

I've tired putting on of my friend's TGP poly monuts into my Regal once. and I remember that it didn't fit. I think it was too short, but I don't really remember.
