Guest Anonymous
I've been noticing a slight Hum coming from my rear drivers side wheel... only when I am making hard turns (like in an intersection)... I had not noticed this in the past but after I had my alignment done I did notice it, but I am not certian as to when it started... any ideas? Justin
Usually a wheel bearing can get louder if you're putting the weight of the car on it, like when you're cornering. Go to a parking lot and weave back and forth, if the noise comes and goes it's probably the bearing.
DaveFromColorado
if you're hearing a slight hum 'round corners after havin' the alignment worked on, then I'd guess what you're hearing is your tires making noise due to the change in the way they are contacting the road. the bearing MAY be going bad, but I'd try rotating your tires and see if that changes the noise first. --Dave.
