Will a 00 GP GT CD Player work in my 94?

If it doesn't becuase it is to new, you can get on like that out of a Sunfire, and similar vehicles of the same era (94...) I say that because the newer decks need that special VIN thing..

you might have to modivy the mounting brakets but it oughta work fine

It's plug-n-play, and will bolt directly into the 94's dash. I had a stereo from a 99 GP in my 95 GP (same dash as your 94) and not only did it look stock, it worked perfectly.

 

1990Lumina The 00-up radios you're thinking about are the "Double-DIN" sized units that started appearing in Chevy's right around that time. Pontiac was slow to phase out their "DIN-and-a-half" radios (I believe the 03 GP was the last model to use that style radio.) All GM/Delco "DIN-and-a-half" radios did not communicate VIN info with the BCM.
