TheAX40 Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 a guy i used to work with is sellin his black 95 grand prix for $400. it needs a right rear stabilizer bar as you can take the wheel and turn it like its the front wheel. It has 120k on it, runs great, body's in great condition, HUD, sunroof, power everything. Should i buy it? Quote
TheAX40 Posted June 8, 2005 Author Report Posted June 8, 2005 how much is it gonna cost to get that fixed? Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted June 8, 2005 Report Posted June 8, 2005 do it yourself and use junkyard parts and new bushings and it should be less than $100. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 I'm assuming that since it's loaded it must have the body kit on it. Hell yeah I'd buy it!! Quote

White93z34 Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 sounds like a trailing arm is broken, if the bodys decent and it runs good, i'd take it. should be a cheep fix is it a SE, GT, or GTP? Quote

DiscoStudd Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 Another thing, is it a coupe or sedan? Regardless, if the body and powertrain are in good shape, $400 is a steal for a 95! I say go for it!!! Quote
pwmin Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 just do the same this to the other side and you'll have all wheel steering! definitely worth 400 Quote

havinfun79 Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 Hey, it's not your fault(that's what the forums are for, no?)-basically I look at it like this, there's a lot of times when I'm undecided about buying something(meaning I really want to, but don't know if I should) & if someone(anyone) tells me I should do it, then I go get what I wanted-I have a feeling that's all you were looking for. I don't think you owe an apology to anyone(I was just a little confused at soccrplayrgtp statement). Quote
TheAX40 Posted June 14, 2005 Author Report Posted June 14, 2005 I just remembered that its got steering wheel controls for the stereo that take up the entire middle section of the wheel. is it possible for these to be used with an aftermarket cd player? Quote

You can, but you'll have to buy a special adapter plug-I think it's like $60-$80(I don't remember). I know I was looking into this because I put an aftermarket stereo in my car(I used those control like crazy), but the stereo that was put in had a remote, so that's what I use now(didn't have the extra money for the plug at the time). havinfun79 Posted June 14, 2005 Report Posted June 14, 2005 You said the stereo controls take up the whole middle, there's no airbag? If there's no airbag then the car is not a '95('94-'96 had air bags). Quote
