a guy i used to work with is sellin his black 95 grand prix for $400. it needs a right rear stabilizer bar as you can take the wheel and turn it like its the front wheel. It has 120k on it, runs great, body's in great condition, HUD, sunroof, power everything. Should i buy it?

sounds like a trailing arm is broken, if the bodys decent and it runs good, i'd take it.

should be a cheep fix

is it a SE, GT, or GTP?

Another thing, is it a coupe or sedan?

Regardless, if the body and powertrain are in good shape, $400 is a steal for a 95! I say go for it!!!

$hit, I'm going to travel about 4 hours away to get a '95 GTP for $500, so I would definately jump on this deal-This car is going to be used for parts, though (I already know, I shouldn't part out a GTP). Good Luck

Hey, it's not your fault(that's what the forums are for, no?)-basically I look at it like this, there's a lot of times when I'm undecided about buying something(meaning I really want to, but don't know if I should) & if someone(anyone) tells me I should do it, then I go get what I wanted-I have a feeling that's all you were looking for. I don't think you owe an apology to anyone(I was just a little confused at soccrplayrgtp statement).

I just remembered that its got steering wheel controls for the stereo that take up the entire middle section of the wheel. is it possible for these to be used with an aftermarket cd player?

You can, but you'll have to buy a special adapter plug-I think it's like $60-$80(I don't remember). I know I was looking into this because I put an aftermarket stereo in my car(I used those control like crazy), but the stereo that was put in had a remote, so that's what I use now(didn't have the extra money for the plug at the time).
