CutlassSL91
My fuel pump is acting us again. Even after I shut off the car the thing keeps running. Once my battery died. I am having to unplug the Fuel pump fuse. I couldn't see/feel any wires running above the tank.

CutlassSL91
there's obviously a short somewere but weather its the relay or a wire i'm curious how much work it is to fix. Please say no tank dropping! This car has nothing but problems it seems!

CutlassSL91
how can i tell if it is the relay?
GnatGoSplat
Pull the relay. If it stays running, you have a bad oil pressure sensor. GM has a backup fuel pump switch built into the oil pressure sensor for some reason. Anyway, If it shuts off, it's probably the relay. If the relay clicks when you plug it into the socket, then you have a wire shorted to ground or a bad ECM.
