Coil pack venting frustration

Finally fixed my car from my RI trip... thats what the stumbling was... coil packs....

How in the hell do they expect you to get that bolt off behind the starter??

I finally got it, after MUCH F'N frustration!!!! Needless to say... that bolt ain't going back in :motz2:

Oh and BTW... disconnect the power when you do this.... we really need an emotio-con with n electrocution

I wish I could move my packs, but I have nowhere to put them....GM should have mouned them similarly to the 3800 series engines.... that would have been real nice.....

Like I said ... just venting

:flip: to that bolt , and the engineer who put it there....

I seem to remember getting to that bolt just fine by removing the oil filter, maybe the oil pressure sensor too I cant remember.

Yeah, the pressure sensor had to go.

i'll assume they are under the front exhaust manifolds. i didn't have any problems except my hands' size. look at the 96-97 monte z34's they are mounted up top, along w/ the icm.

I hope that you are relocating them so you don't have this problem again...

No , But I left out that PITA bolt... Without that , I bet I could change them in 10 min...
