Intlcutlass
Finally fixed my car from my RI trip... thats what the stumbling was... coil packs.... How in the hell do they expect you to get that bolt off behind the starter?? I finally got it, after MUCH F'N frustration!!!! Needless to say... that bolt ain't going back in Oh and BTW... disconnect the power when you do this.... we really need an emotio-con with n electrocution I wish I could move my packs, but I have nowhere to put them....GM should have mouned them similarly to the 3800 series engines.... that would have been real nice..... Like I said ... just venting :flip: to that bolt , and the engineer who put it there....
digitaloutsider
I screamed, cursed, threw shit, kicked my car, and just about lost my head when my GP's coilpacks died. And yeah.. always remove the negative battery cable..
Brian P
I seem to remember getting to that bolt just fine by removing the oil filter, maybe the oil pressure sensor too I cant remember.
