You'll have to mess with a few wires IIRC, but I dont remember which ones.

You have to cut a hole in the firewall for the new pedal assembly. You also might need to cut a hole in the interior for the shifter assembly (or make the original hole bigger).

Why would you want to covert back? If you're not set in doing it and keeping it that way, dont do it....its not something you do to try out. If you just want to try it out to see how it is, go test drive one for sale somewhere or something. Coverting to and then back from is more of a hassle than anything

Yes unless you get a harness that is already setup of it. you need to move the VSS wiring and you need to hook up the reverse switch/ I also suggest removing all the auto wires.

2. do hvae to drill any holes any where

you have to cut a hole in the firewall on the lower passager side for the cables to go thru. the first hole is there you need to drill out the second one

to convert if back keep all the auto parts. you will have to do the reverse of the manual

remember you have to remove the dash to get the pedals in

oh it was a bitch, no doubt about it. i dropped the column down, removed the driver's seat, and had to cram my head up under the dash while laying on my back with a flourescent tube light so i could (somewhat) see what i was doing. if i had to do it again i'd just remove the steering column completely. also, i wouldn't bother swaping in the shorter brake pedal, i'd just cut the existing one shorter. the clutch pedal was much easier....probably wouldn't even have to drop the steering column to get that one in.

well what clutch pedal are you using.....the w-body one is part of the brake piece. it is a big brackt that holds both the pedals

my clutch pedal (from a '90 Grand Prix) is completely seperate from any part of the brake pedal or any part of the brake system. what year is your car and what 5-speed parts did you use?

All the pre '94 pedal assemblies are the same as I have a '91 Cutlass supreme(LQ1/284) clutch pedal in my '89 TGP. You'd probably have an easier time selling it if it's stick if that's why your worried about whether or not it's factory. Even TGPs aren't worth anything so having it factory stock means nothing. If you looked at the interior of my car there is only one way to tell it's not factory(if you didn't know all TGPs were auto)...I don't have the right key cylinder.

i just found out all the pics are on my old CPU (stored in my closet right now :? ) i will post them within the next day or two...

btw, i seriously doubt anyone could tell my car was automatic from the factory...the 'P R N OD D 2 1' on the cluster is the only thing i can think of that gives it away. i also have a Grand Prix 5-speed center console but it looks like it rolled off the assembly line that way.
