WhiteMonteZZZ Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 Whenever I pop my hood, over by my power steering cap area (pass. side of motor w/belts, etc), on the hood is a slight amount of oil (not dripping off the hood or anything, just enough to see a faint oily film). I believe it to be oil and not power steering fluid (as I'm running synthetic valvoline PS fluid which is clear, and the oil on the hood is gold-colored). Any ideas where this could come from? Blow by? There is also a little bit of oily covering right on/around my MAP sensor, and by the side of the plenum where two vacuum lines connect (which is all in the same vacinity). Anyone 3.4 DOHC-educated care to offer a guess? And a fix? Thanks! WhitemonteZZZ Quote
