wilde108 Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 Just wondering if anyone has had their leather seats re-covered ever in their Cutty. Would it just be cheaper to look around at auto wreckers? I've been looking on ebay for months and they never seem to have any. I've seen some Aurora Leather seats, but I doubt they would fit. If anyone has had this done or knows where I can get some new leather seats for my 92 vert please advise. Quote
jeremy Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 recovering leather seats will probably run you ~$1000 or so....much cheaper to find them on eBay (they are on there quite a bit) or in a yard (tons available on http://www.car-part.com) Quote
jimmy91444 Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 yea they changed 3 panel on mine and that was $400.00 Quote
5speedz34 Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 Yeah, getting seats recovred is rape. I searched for 3 years until I found the seats I have in my car now, which aren't torn at all. Quote
wilde108 Posted March 26, 2006 Author Report Posted March 26, 2006 I ended up getting custom fit vinyl seat covers. They match the original leather color and look and feel as good as leather. 300.00 for seatcovers.net Quote
fastbird232 Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 Well, this answers my question about my GTP seats... Quote
SLAMDIT Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 Lucky for me one of my buddies does auto upholstery. I am having 4 civic buckets covered in a 2-tone setup and will have a case of beer and materials as my only cost. Can't wait for them to be done!! Quote
