CougarNut
I have some quick questions about sizes of speakers, I have a 94 cutlass convertible, and I need some sizes of the speakers all around, I have speakers in the front deck, and to the left and right of the rear passengers. I believe the rear speakers are 6.5 speakers as the set of 5.25 doesn't fit very well... What size is the front deck speakers? (I'm thinking 3") They also look like they are under some kind of mesh, how do I go about removing them? Thanks

LukeZ34
3 1/2" for the dash Speakers. 4x6" Speakers in the doors (if equipped w/ premium sound option) I believe the Rears are 6 1/2" Speakers, but not 100% sure. I never messed w/ those when I had my droptop.
cutlsp
there are 6 bolts you need to pull off to get the dash pad out to get to the dash speakers. 2 in the heater duct. 2 under the trim filler panel that has 5 screws in it that is around the radio and speedometer. then 2 under the removable glove box. once the dash pad is out you can replace the dash speakers in a matter of minutes.
