Hey guys, I was doing a little preventative maintenance today and checked the spark plugs/gaps, etc. for anything unusual. I have pics of each plug and such (btw: weird ignition system on this dohc quad 4, easy to work on, though). But, once I had the cover/coil off and could see the plugs, i noticed a very small pool of coolant (green) kinda inbetween plugs 3 and 4 (from right to left). It didn't appear to be coming from anywhere except maybe a bolt on the right of plug 3. I had a brand new head put in back in November b/c my engine blew a plug out of the old head and destroyed the coil and such. I have pics of everything, but I don't have time to get them hosted yet (anyone with an account, I could just send them to you to post) as I have to get going. The car isn't going anywhere, I'm riding with a friend. I checked everything else that is basic maintenance (fluids, etc.) and found nothing else, but I just thought I'd ask.

Sounds like you either blew the head gasket, or the gasket put on with the new head didn't seal up good.

Looks like you're gonna have to re-seal the head man...

Sorry...

Umm, IIRC: the plugs on the Quad 4 are right where the cam carriers meet the head right? So, maybe it's that gasket?

Son of a bitch... I have a huge headache. Add one more thing I have to do this car... Those fucking idiots at the dealership either screwed something up (like usual) or the gasket may be bad. But, it is not coming out from where the head meets the covers, it is coming from that bolt. And no fluids are mixed (oil in coolant) or anything. If I have to mess with the head on this car, im going to be pissed. I'm going to wait a few days and see how it looks and I'm going to tighten that damn bolt down with a big allen wrench.

Also, if you look at the pic, it isn't coming down from where the cam covers meet the meet the head, the walls are clean. It's definately coming from that bolt... geez.
