3.1 1991 to 3100 1994 91 cs ?

I am installing the engine todayand the pass side mount main engine mount is like 2 inches out to far...I used the mount and bracket off the 91 do I need to get one for a 94? the motor is actually from a ciera. can I use the metal bracket from it and just get a 94 cs new mount ? thanks Jack

the ciera is not a w-body and uses a whole different cradle setup. I think any w-body mount off a 2.8/3.1 will work.

I have the one off the 91 Cut supreme but when I sat motor in it is 2 inches to far to the pass side. Just woindered if the bracket was different for the later CS with 3100

well I played with both mounts and the issue was that they needed to go back towards the driver side abou 1.5 inches so I tried to make the original 91work ...no way in hell so I drilled holes further back in the 94 bracket and no go also the nuts hit the damn aluminum oil pan......so 30 min later a little wire feed work and no nuts holding mount welded it up..next mount change will be a bitch but it is in..........................thanks for all the input 8)

yeah the 3100 W-body bracket is much different than a 3.1 w-body bracket.
