Crankshaft sensor???

my cars rpms were dropping erradicly like the car wanted to stall, luckily i got it to a repair shop and they said something about the crank shaft sensor? or pulley?

 

it was causing the engine to misfire, anybody experience this before?

 

oh yeah car is not for sale anymore.

I had my crank sensor break before. It's probably in the same location on the engines. It is on the rear of the engine to the right (passenger side) of the exhaust downpipe. Only 1 bolt I believe holding it in. Tells the engine when to fire and if it tells it the wrong time you're likely to crack a piston.
