Curlybandit
I searched the forum and found one mention of the Shiftplus for the 4T60-E. Just wondering if anyone knew if this would make a difference in the 4T60, and if it's even worth it? Thanks.
SleeperRed90TGp
So what are you talking about a shift kit for the internal trans or a shifter.? Trans-go makes a shift kit for the 4t60 called the 4t60 jr or something like that. You defiantly have to take the trans apart. About 50 from everybody. scorpion_x9
I bought an aftermarket vacuum modulator that is adjustable for about $20-$30. And it does the same thing as that Shiftplus, except you can't adjust it while driving.
Curlybandit
Did you notice any difference? Is it worth installing?
THe_DeTAiL3R
I once disconnected and plugged the vac line from my vacuum modulator on my 1988 GP (2.8). This way it shifts as hard as it can, but I didn't notice ANY performance improvement. I took it to the track and could not tell a difference between plugged vacuum line or plugged in the modulator. All I DID notice was how damn hard it shifted from D to R/ R to D (if you were rolling at all), and when it downshifted was very hard. Off topic...maybe I should take this to a PM, but it's late and I'm to lazy... Anyway, more info on this vaccumm hose would e greatly appeicated!! What would happen if this hose was broken and not connected?? Instead of being plugged? Thanks
