GP1138 Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 And John, you STILL don't get what I'm trying to say. LEAVE THE A/C compressor on. Christ, man, don't take it personally. :? It's a healthy debate, why do you get so worked up about it? I didn't understand what you had meant. It doesn't weigh enough in total to waste your time taking it out. All you need is the smaller belt. No extra pulleys, no pain-in-the-ass A/C compressor removal.. just $12 at your local AutoZone. I think he can tell for himself if it's a waste of his time to remove it. Personally, I would remove it myself, just because I don't want something there that's just going to be deadweight. If you're gonna do something, why not finish the job? Quote
Jcrow Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 Thanks for the part numbers! I think I'll take my time with this, man that a/c compressor is probably like 4 bolts! that might take all week to do Quote
digitaloutsider Posted May 27, 2005 Report Posted May 27, 2005 Actually, there's one bolt that's a GIGANTIC pain in the ass to get to. It's a 10mm bolt up near the oil filter. God that one was a bitch. Quote
