Clear Corners

I need something to do to the euro this weekend and making clear corners is my best bet. I want to go ahead and do it, but one thing troubles me, I dont want to break the clips that hold the assembly together, is there any way to get them off without breaking them?

Heat the thing up a bit to loosen the gunk holding the lens to the housing.. Then it should peel off. If the clips break, who cares.. Silicone it back together, and make sure it is water tight..

those clips seem to break really easy...or maybe it was just me
