digitaloutsider Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 Took me roughly 2.5 hours. Tell me what you think! Quote
Aaron Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 If I were you I'd use AutoCAD to make it, that way you can splay/array the markings--they'd look a lot more accurate that way. Looks good so far, but needs some fixing. Quote

Looks good so far, but needs some fixing. Yeah, I was just tooling around in Photoshop to see what I could do. Once I become serious, I'll move on to AutoCAD. Quote
dbtk2 Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 Looks very good. Another version with the boost gauge instead of volt meter would be awesome for the Turbo guys..... Shawn Quote

digitaloutsider Posted May 19, 2005 Author Report Posted May 19, 2005 Okay, fuck the TGP one. Even though the differences are minor, it's hard to change mine to fit it. If anyone has a scan of a TGP cluster, please send it to me. Quote
digitaloutsider Posted May 19, 2005 Author Report Posted May 19, 2005 When I said scan, i literally meant a scan of the cluster face. Thanks, anyway. Quote
no1kicker Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 I sent you one maybe a year ago, remember? I'll see if I can dig it up again. Quote
digitaloutsider Posted May 19, 2005 Author Report Posted May 19, 2005 Yeah, I remember. That's long gone though. Quote
supreme_style21 Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 That, I truly like. Its not the shitty gay neon things that float all over the place. Nice and respectable. Quote
jeremy Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 that is nice work, but how would you light it up? Quote
dsgrntld187 Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 Can you do this for a Cutlass Supreme too? Quote
kadeas Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Took me roughly 2.5 hours. Tell me what you think! Looks good, how did you make these? Quote
digitaloutsider Posted May 20, 2005 Author Report Posted May 20, 2005 Took the cluster apart, scanned the face (in two pieces, the scanner is too small to do the whole thing), pieced it together in Photoshop, and lasso-tool'd ALL the nitches and copied them to a new file. From there, I was able to change the way I wanted everything to look. I superimposed the original cluster over my new one and got the idiot light placement from that. Quote
91grandprixGT Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 once you get it all together let me know, I would be interested in buying one Quote
