biff85ta
Don't forget new bolts. The head bolts are torque to yeild bolts so you need new ones every time.

89GPSE
nice, too bad you are streesed for time,or i would say you should grab some roller rockers from summit or jegs, while you have the motor apart. only $113.99 and add about 30 HP. Roller rockers are good, but they will not add 30 hp to a 3.1......or anything else for that matter. Good luck on the rest of the project. - Justin

rudefyet
welp...i'm just now working on it again dropped a jack on my foot, so that felt good gonna head back the sears and get a 13mm wrench, my dad thinks he can get the a/c compressor bracket off, without dropping the a/c compressor, if i get one
loominaz34
Now, i'm gonna be the idiot here and ask why you were playing witha jack while doing your head gaskets? And why did you drop it on your foot
rudefyet
you have to crawl under the car to reach one of the a/c compressor bolts I was trying to lift it over and extension cord i had running to a light and it slipped i didn't get back from sears till 9pm last night got the a/c compressor bracket off around 11p.m. then by 12:30 i had the new gaskets on, heads torque, LIM back in place, etc. Had to quit cause i was keeping m parents awake All i've got left it the putting the plenum back on and a few other small thing
slick
Shoulda cleaned it up a bit while you had that all taken apart, that way if you ever need to take it off again, it wouldn't be as greasy and messy.
