The Rare W41 Achieva SCX Getrag w/3.94 gearing Getrag 282 Quad 4 w/3.61 gearing Getrag 282 W-body w/3.61 gearing Getrag 284 W-body w/3.67 gearing I got these names and info off of http://www.brian89gp.com/other/transmission.htm And one last question, What trans does a w-body with a Quad 4 have, because the ratios for first and second gear are different between the Quad 4 Getrag and the W-body Getrag. I would assume that the Quad 4 Getrag is the one that is used in the n-bodys, Acheiva, Grand Am, Beretta...but i have no idea I would also assume that the W-body 282 Getrag was used with the 2.8L and 3.1L V6's. Both the w-body and those with the quad4 that had the getrag 282 are about the same. The bellhousing is different between the quad4 and v6 engines so it is not interchangeable, the internals may be but I don't know for sure. I have no clue on the RPO's. I didn't even know the w-body quad4 even came with the getrag Its funny, out of my whole site that one page gets the most traffic, go figure Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
