I am trying to take off the B4U kit on my car to get it replaced. I have had the front off before, but now I am taking off the rear corner panel just behind the door but in front of the rear wheel. So far, I removed the screws from the underbody and got the plastic piece pushed up to clear the metal clips at the top, but I am having problems removing the panel because something inside the wheel well is not letting go.

When I peeled back the black tape from the wheel well area, I can see a black dot (that is smaller than a dime) imbedded in the plastic. It seems to be holding the piece onto the car. I have tried pulling the piece from the backside -- nothing. I tried to pry the black dot out with a screwdriver -- nothing. I am stumped and trying not to break it taking it off. Has anyone come across this before or have any suggestions? My camera is inop, so no pics.

And I have used the search button and read all the posts containing anything that might be useful.

Thanks.

Damnit, I need to remove that same piece on my car (to get a little rust and replace some of the clips). Was hoping it wouldn't be any harder than the front. :bash:

It's not that it's hard, I just don't know how to get around the black clip (that's what I think it is).
