Schudini Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 I am trying to take off the B4U kit on my car to get it replaced. I have had the front off before, but now I am taking off the rear corner panel just behind the door but in front of the rear wheel. So far, I removed the screws from the underbody and got the plastic piece pushed up to clear the metal clips at the top, but I am having problems removing the panel because something inside the wheel well is not letting go. When I peeled back the black tape from the wheel well area, I can see a black dot (that is smaller than a dime) imbedded in the plastic. It seems to be holding the piece onto the car. I have tried pulling the piece from the backside -- nothing. I tried to pry the black dot out with a screwdriver -- nothing. I am stumped and trying not to break it taking it off. Has anyone come across this before or have any suggestions? My camera is inop, so no pics. And I have used the search button and read all the posts containing anything that might be useful. Thanks. THe_DeTAiL3R Posted May 14, 2005 Report Posted May 14, 2005 Damnit, I need to remove that same piece on my car (to get a little rust and replace some of the clips). Was hoping it wouldn't be any harder than the front. Quote
Schudini Posted May 15, 2005 Author Report Posted May 15, 2005 It's not that it's hard, I just don't know how to get around the black clip (that's what I think it is). Quote
