joey b Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 This is in general, since some may not check the whatever section. Whenever you make a post there will be an "X" in the dialog box that you just posted. It is next to another box that says "edit". By clicking on that "X" you can delete this post. When you double post click on that "X" instead of clicking on "edit" and changing your post to say "oops, double post" Quote
Dirty Rockstar Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 This should be in the general posting rules/strategy guide.. Great advice though! Quote
z34_nut Posted May 13, 2005 Report Posted May 13, 2005 Once some-one reply's after your double post, (and you don't notice) you can't delete the post. Most people don't notice the double post immediatly, because people don't usually click on "veiw your message" but rather "return to the forum" And this is a what-ever topic regardless. If you read turbosedans recient rule, he states you must post in the correct section, theres a reason for them, and you will get more reply's mainly because more people frequent the w/e section, but also because its is the appropriate section. A real tip is only clicking the "submit" botton ONCE. Clicking it repeatedly does nothing but double post, or more. Quote
