ABS/Computer problems

I took my car in today to get the wheel speed sensor replaced becuase my ABS light was on and i had no ABS. well they replaced the sensor but they also found out that the ABS isnt working becuase there is something wrong with the computer and say the whole thing needs to be replaced. They want 800 bucks for a new one which i wont pay. What years/models can i get a used computer from to replace mine. Thx

I've been told 94+ the computers changed. Just get one from a yard.
