z34_nut
Ok, Need your help. Seeing I don't know it off the top of my head like many people, I have to ask (and the search function BLOWS btw). I need information on coil packs. First what coil controls what cylinders, and info on what cylinder is what for example: [piston # back 1 3 5 2 4 6 front coil 1: pistons 1+3 coil 2: pistons 2+4 coil 3: pistons 5+6 Location: (in order from passengers side) coil 1, coil 2, coil 3] With my luck, thats prolly right, but I just need some facts. jeremy
Firing Order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Coil Connection Sequence: 1-4-6-3-2-5 I found this in a thread that I found using the search feature I am glad you brought this up again, because I don't know if it is correct or not, but that was the answer someone gave when this question was asked earlier. I hope someone can come in this thread and verify if that order is correct because verification never happened in the other thread
z34_nut
I found this in a thread that I found using the search feature crap! Firing Order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Coil Connection Sequence: 1-4-6-3-2-5 so I wounder is it (f stands for front, b stands for back) 1b, 2f, 3b, 4f, 5b, 6f? if that were true, and that coil location is also true, then my first coil pack is toast (1-4) Its not firing on 1 (?) or 4(?) slick
For the wires, undo the wire loom, and pull out the needed wires(the ones that connect to the plugs that go into the ICM) until you have the desired length. Then, just re-wrap up the rest of the wires, and your done. It's kind of a pain in the ass with those wires running in about 4-5 different looms, so be prepared to get dirty, and it does take a few hours. Nope, no write up. I just undid the wire loom, pulled out the necessary lengths of wires, wire loomed back up the rest of it, mounted the coil pack/icm assembly where I wanted it, and that was that.
