buckethead Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Well here is a picture of what my car looks like now: And this is what I'd like it to look like: Only question is.... is it worth my time and money to make it happen. What does everyone think? Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Only question is.... is it worth my time and money to make it happen. Looks much better... but if you have to ask, the answer is probably NO! Quote
slick Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 I don't fancy the wheels too much, but that sure does look sleek and clean looking. I say go for it. Quote
jeremy Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 good point Shawn, I didn't even see his question about "is it worth it?" the answer to that question is definitely no Quote
z34_nut Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Its never worth is on a 1st gen w-body. But why do all of us do it? I say, its your money, it looks good (could use some 5-spokes, non-chrome) It would definatly be different. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Its never worth is on a 1st gen w-body. But why do all of us do it? Well, it's worth it to those of us who love our cars so much that the money doesn't matter. For me, the cost, work, and time I put into my car is a labor of love and I don't care that even my tires alone cost more than the value of the car. BUT if someone has to ask if it's worth it... obviously he doesn't love his car that much. In that case, I think the answer is always going to be NO. Quote
DiscoStudd Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 The chop's horrible, but we get the general idea. It might not be worth it to a sane person to heavily modify a 1st gen W, but if you have any kind of attachment to your car and you want to see your ideas carried out, go for it! Of course your car still won't be worth a hill of beans, but if it's what you want, then bah gawd do it!!! One little nitpick: Shave those Regal emblems! Quote
buckethead Posted May 10, 2005 Author Report Posted May 10, 2005 yeah, i'm still just learning to photoshop.... haven't quite figured out too much of it yet. I'd love my car to look like that, but i'm not sure how much longer the damn thing is even going to last me..... It's a pipe dream that's for sure. I'd be better off buying a 95 2-door regal gs that already has the body colored moldings, a bigger engine, and less miles..... if only i had some money. Quote
GOT2B GM Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 The chop looks like someone plastered the side of the car with bondo, didnt sand it, and then painted it. Cool ideas tho... but you are the only one who can really decide if its worth it or not. Quote
MonteCarloChick Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 I dunno.. looks kinda ghetto to me. But hey, who am I to say anything. Quote
5speedz34 Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 I dunno.. looks kinda ghetto to me. But hey, who am I to say anything. I agree, it looks to low to me. Seriously though name what cars, if any, it would be worth it to do modification to? Quote
