Guest Anonymous Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 First off, I dont want anyone accusing me of an illigitmate thread... Two bulbs in my radio are burnt out. It looks semi-crappy at night... Has anyone ever replaced them? Is it possible? I'm not sure how the faceplate on these things works and whats going on in there... Quote
White93z34 Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 i've replaced those before, its a royal PITA. you gotta disasemble the radio and use a soldering iron to remove them, and i think you can get replacements from radio shack, Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Ugggh. sounds like a PITA. I guess I'll leave it as it is... not worth risking destruction over a burn out bulb or two... Quote
no1kicker Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 It's easier than it looks to take the radio apart. I think if you look at it, you'll see what I mean. Heck, I have an 89 style cassette in my 90 radio. Quote
