Other than this INTAKE MANIFOLD problem with the 3.1 why would I want to buy it and why not? I noticed Consumer Reports suggested the 98 as a reccomended BUY. 1990lumina Posted May 7, 2005 Report Share Posted May 7, 2005 The engine is written as "3100" I think...the 3.1 was used in older Luminas...the block is the same size, just a different name lol The LS will have many options and better handling then the base...someone more infomrative will chime in - Jeff L.
