MoTox8410 Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 on the 3.4 DOHC there a "quick connect" fitting that goes to the heater core (its right by the thermostat) has anyone had to replACE one of these....i spoke to a mechanic about it and he said that everyone he's had to replace cracked and he had to tap it to get it out ?? gp90se Posted May 7, 2005 Report Share Posted May 7, 2005 they are white metal, like the door handles that break all the time. if he is gental and it isnt already cracked, it will screw out.
