Heres the problem. The car drives fine under normal driving conditions, but when I hammer the pedal down it starts shaking(or STRONG hesitation if you will) after 3-4k rpm. It stared doing this two weeks ago maybe, but has gotten noticeably worse since. I started cheap and replaced plugs/wires, and fuel filter hoping it would cure it. Now I supose it may be a coil pack. Do those symptoms sound like a coil pack going south? Any other suggestions? thx

Shaking and hesitation are tow completely different things...

It would be great if you could clear that up. Another stupid thing to check is the air filter.

How does the car sound at idle? rough? mis-firing?

I wish I could know.
