Guest TurboSedan Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I think I'm the only one who hasn't humped in my car. i never have either! wouldn't want to either....there are much better places for the humpin action! Quote
Regal_GS_1989 Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Best time in the regal..... Flying around a REALLY sharp bend doing 55mph and hearing the rear tires start to brake loose. (With crappy 195/70R14 I might add) Hehe. Somehow, I have never been able to break the tires loose on dry pavement in both of my regals. My best time would be me and my friend racing side by side on a paved country road, and me being able to outhandle his Escort GT. Quote
loominaz34 Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I've got a few good ones there was the first time I wound out first gear going onto the highway and feeling the thrust continue past second gear. Or the time I beat my friend's concorde 3.5 after fighting for every inch. Or the time I tore the snorkel off the intake and thought I broke something when the engine revved and drowned out the radio I love my car. Quote
Leinzey Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 There have been so many great memories in the GT, so I'll only share a few of them. The best is probably just cruising around on a nice summer day right after I got the car and my license. It was almost three years ago, but there's no better feeling than finally having the freedom to drive, and having a great car to drive in. More recently my best memory is racing a modded 96-98 Mustang GT 5-speed and taking him by a fender up to 80. The look on his face after he lost to a family car was priceless. Just this past wednesday when I got my new PB, there was a high school guy there with a couple of his buddies in his neon. It had rims, nasty tails, Z3 fenders, fart can...you name it, it had it. He came up to me in the staging lanes and I asked what I was running, and when I told him I had just run a 14.7, his looked of  was almost more than I could take. Then when I told him I wasn't boosted, he about fell over. His poor neon was stuck running 16.2-16.3 all day long...I think he probably went home and burned it. The worst memory in the GT happened when I backed into a black Toyota Camry on New Year's night my senior year. I hadn't yet hit the bottle, but I felt like a dumbass just the same. This guy at the party parked right across from the driveway, but after a quick glace behind me I still didn't see the car. 2 new doors and a rocker panel later, my bill came out to $900. Quote
EurosportZ34 Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 First time driving a DOHC. Car meets and car shows. Washing my Luminas. Working on my Luminas. Driving in the rain...'cause of the Lumina's pimp windsheild wipers! Quote
Dannymik Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I humped alot in my '88 Regal, so that was very cool! Winning many stereo competitions in the '95 Cutlass...the day I got the stripes put on was cool. For the Grand Prix...being able to spin the tires for like a looong time....hello 3800. Also I remember the good feeling of having a readily available aftermarket for this car The worst was when my x-wife(girlfriend at the time) keyed my trunk on the Cutlass over a high school type argument! I almost hit her that day, but I have good morals and just made her pay for it to get painted. Quote
NOHC_WBody Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 90+ in my 94 GTP off Rideout Road onto 565 in Huntsville AL. It was a long right hand sweeper exit off Rideout & every afternoon I'd get to do it on the way home from work. That, and the way it sounded when you were doing about 20-25 mph and floored it. Quote
88Regal Limited Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 the best times were when the front seats got reclined to where they touched the rear bench seat those were some good times so i take it MonteCarloChick had a good time too? No wonder I never see her post anymore.... Quote
3pt1lumina Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 ok, here's one I bet no one has...... Throwing a TV out of a Lumina at 70mph w/ the door open. Man, that was fun! It's a real long story though. Quote

It's a real long story though. details, fucker! NOW!!!!!! My guess is that it was probably somewhere in the neighborhood of kicking a washing machine out of the back of a Ford Ranger at 50+ with one hand on the roll bar in the bed and the other hand on my camcorder. Prospeeder Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 The other day, when i was flooring it, and i freaked out, cause i saw the gas gauge went from a bit under 1/2 a tank to E and the light came on, and i freaked like, holy shit my car ate all my gas!!! and then i slammed on the brakes and it shot back up to 1/2 and then went back down, then when i stopped, when back the normal, fuckin sucks, i took it about 3-4 miles of hard ass driving, and it lost 2 notches of gas on the gauge, holy shit, thats scary. Boy this car hits 90+ like nothing Quote
Albion Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 Not the best moment, but a good one : Looking over and casually smiling at the guy in the '05 Mustang who couldn't seem to pass me. It was the "How come I can't pass that piece of sh*t" look on his face. <smug satisfaction> Albion. Quote
Justin Posted May 5, 2005 Report Posted May 5, 2005 OK. that is just halarious!! Still haven't gotten an answer from Justin It was feathers, the town I went to college in was next to a reservation. I had many Indian friends there. That was the weird thing, I was just friends with this girl, we went to a party and then I gave her a ride to her car. Literally. Right in the college parking lot. My guess is that it was probably somewhere in the neighborhood of kicking a washing machine out of the back of a Ford Ranger at 50+ with one hand on the roll bar in the bed and the other hand on my camcorder. Well we all hate this one teacher and we decided it would be fun to reak havoc at her house. In the past my friends would shoot paintballs at her house/cars and bash her fence and mailbox with a bat. Well, we were all standing around and were like, we should go get this bitches house.... So we piled into the Lumey and proceeded to find garbage to throw. Originally we were looking for a bag of garbage (since Wed. is trash day in my town (mostly everyone)) ...... Well, we proceed to find a 19" TV. We stop, take it home to make sure it didnt work because we didn't want to break a perfectly good tv. TV definitely didn't work. So we're like "lets throw it outta the car!!" I'm driving, buddy is in the front seat holding the back door open and everyone else is packed in. So we're driving along and we open the door at 70 and let the tv out. My friend decides to hold the damn TV next to the car as its sliding across the street on the glass AT 70MPH!. he then lets go of the cord (that's how he was holding it) and the fucker slides next to the car then hits the gutter by the driveway and goes about 10 ft in the air spiraling w/ the cord flying all over the place then SMASH LOL It was freaking hilarious. I'm dying as I type this laughing all over again. Quote
cutlsp Posted May 5, 2005 Report Posted May 5, 2005 you all shoulda gotten a vid of that happening my sides hurt now i can't stop laughing Quote
3pt1lumina Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 you all shoulda gotten a vid of that happening my sides hurt now i can't stop laughing As soon as we can find something else that will break just as good such as another TV or a computer or something, we're doing it again so we'll record it. White93z34 Posted May 7, 2005 Author Report Posted May 7, 2005 my z34... it had to be finding the car period. when i still had my old cutlass my brother let me drive his black 93'z34 i loved it. then months later i was going to part out a car with a friend and i passed a shop and saw a white z34, and on the way back i stoped to check it out, i loved this car, it was what i wanted so bad, but alas i had a car and not too much money, so i got in my cutlass and left. so 6+ months later my cutlass was a total loss, and i needed a car, so i took a drive out there and low and behold te z34 was still there, this time i talked to the owner, i took her for a test drive and 2 days later i slid my cutlass' old plate into the z34s and transfered all the paperwork and drove it home. my euro 3.4... hands down. after 60+ hours of work and tuneing, finally hearing it run right.
