Moddedgtp
I have a question tommorow Im going up to the track, and I was wondering if its best to launch with traction control on or off! Also I plan on launching at 2000! What has everyone else done for best results?? Please let me know ASAP!
sl3196
Trac. off, 2k is a good rpm to launch at, performance shift on, front tires at 25psi and rears maxed (read the side of tire for this spec).
mfewtrail
If you're going to "brake torque" to 2K, then I would try leaving the line at 3/4 throttle for a second or so and then pushing it to the floor, put it to the floor sooner if you have traction(basically, you'll want to try a few different launches and see what works best for you). 88Regal Limited
Well, what I've learned from white93z34 he says his 3.4 likes to launch from a brake torqe of 1800, because only a tire chirp comes and the converter locks up around 2000.
