wilde108
I recently purchased a BORLA muffler and Tip. The tip is the same size as the outlet of the muffler and will not slide over for bolt on functionality. Does anyone know if an exhaust shop could expand the tip to make it fit the outlet? Here are the pics so you will know what I mean.

buckethead
muffler shop should also be able to expand it, but i think steve's idea would work better... you could crack or damage the tip trying to expand it.
pwmin
if youre gonna take it to a muffler shop anyway ask them if it should be expanded or coupled. or you could just weld it right to the end of the outlet of the muffler
topless94style
With those cuts in the tip of the muffler, you should be able to expand the muffler a little yourself to fit the tip inside there, or decrease the diameter slightly to make the tip fit over it. You can buy a tool to expand the end of the tip yourself, they are about $30.

5speedz34
An exhaust shop can weld and expand that no problem.
