you're in Ohio, just drive over to John's place and let him find it for you......

Where'd you see he was in OH?

his cardomain page

I looked there, guess not hard enough.

EDIT: I see! I always expect ads to be over there so I never look.

Good luck! If my car didn't have those options I think I'd sell it cause it would be too boring.

I did think about selling it but, I can't seem to find any good deals on newer GP's!!!

Perferably a GTP that already has all the toys! Hell I even had to get the lights that go on the back of the doors, there was wires for those though!

I live in Shelby, it's about 60 mins. north of Columbus, and about 60 mins. south of Cleveland.

Sell it and buy my car.. lol

It's got pretty much everything except stock CD player, sunroof, leather/power seats. The A/C doesn't work either. Tan inside. I added grey ripped up power seats from my 88 GP (still have the stock tan ones).

I'll be in Dayton on July 3rd and 4th for sure. That's a long way off though.

I have the stock seats out of my car, they are in good condition too, if you're interested let me know and I could bring them with me. They are medium grey color.

Hi again, I also have a problem with the throttle on my GP. When I put the gas pedal to the floor, and doing around 35 mph, like to pass someone, the car misses and surges, when I let off the gas a little it kicks down and takes off. Sorry, I know this isn't where I'm supposed to post but it seems I'm talking to a bright group of people, and could use your help!

Hmm. That's tempting. How much would you want for them??

Hmm.. I'm not sure. Did you post this as a seperate thread?

Sounds a little like your TPS might be failing, I'd try replacing that first, that's the best I can do just with what you've said so far.

How does 75.00 for the seats sound? I paid 350.00 for my leather from a junk yard, I think that was fair.

Would the TPS throw a code? I do have a code 33 I think, it's the egr silonoid 3 sticking code. It had the same code about 3 years ago, I changed the egr valve and it still came on, so I took it to the dealership, they had it for 3 days, and said it was the egr port needed cleaned out. Well...now it's on again and I don't want to spend another 100.00 to have them clean it out, does anyone know about this? And don't worry guys I will be putting my posts in the appropriate threads too, just hoped someone had a quick fix! lol!!! I said quick fix!!!That never happens, every time I work on my GP it turns out to be a 3 day job!!! Could be lack of mechanical skills too!

I hope that leather was in absolutely PERFECT condition without a scratch on it. Then again the junkyard near me is dirt cheap and I can pick up an entire leather interior for ~$60

Yea...it's real nice leather...it's out of a 95 or 96 Olds Cutty. Check it out on my Cardomain site! BTW, when you're changing your brake pads and a caliper bolt breaks in half, you're screeeeewed! That, I assure you, was not lack of mech. skill! I think I've done pretty good on my rides, I've changed all the normal parts myself like, alternator, 4 fuel pumps, brakes, calipers, rotors, lateral link rods, and what have ya'. And never had anyone teach me a thing, I just can't afford to run to Goodwrench + every time something goes wrong! And thanks to people like you who give me a hand when needed!!!

when the dealer runs your VIN it tells them the options that came with the car, not what it is wired for.

Nope...no luck on the wire harness...A guy on Clubgp said not all 95 GP's have these wires prerun...I was also told my ride was originally bought in California when it was new, and it has the wire for the engine block heater! I may be dumb but I don't think it gets that cold out west where you should have one of those on your ride. Or are all Gp wired with it? Oh well...If I can't seem to find the plugs I need I guess it's back to the Junk yard to rip all the wires out off the other car. If that don't work I guess I have a nice trip comp. for sale! I'll keep ya updated.

My load has a mind of it's own, but at least it looks good, even if it's rollin' down the road strapped to a tow truck!

Is there just about a foot or so of wire on them? Does anyone know where the wires go from the DIC? Is there a plug at the other end?

Posted

Well, the DIC/HUD plugs do not exsist in my car... :( I'm thinking about hard wiring in some of the options I want, is this possible? From what I've found out on a few websites, a lot of the wires go to the speedo, right?

On w-bodysource.com it shows how to hook up a 97+ HUD into a 94-96 GP, and I'm thinking the HUD and DIC are real similar to wire. So would I just match the wire colors from the DIC, to the wires on speedo and so on?
