john99gtp Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 heh. lowest octane we got here is 87, highest is 93. Quote

f_399 Posted April 26, 2005 Author Report Posted April 26, 2005 I am scared to fill up with premium! put $10 and it only went up a quarter tank! full tank maybe 40! how much do those huge ass trucks cost to fill up with premium? $80?!?!?!?! i dont understand why 93 is more expensive then 87 if it "carries less energy" Quote

Though I find it odd that the price between 87 and 89 can be as much as 20 cents, yet the price between 89 and 93 is like 5 cents Quote
john99gtp Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 its to cents here 2.07 > 2.17 > 2.27 87 > 91 > 93 Quote

z34_nut Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 um, back on topic, As john said, out intervals between the lowest and the highest grade are 10 cents, the better gas you get. Now i have seen shell advertise a "special" fuel that they offer. They claim it has addictives and so forth. I forget what its called, but I know I'm not nuts. Quote
cutlsp Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 i use my race trac credit card for race trac gas only i get points for free gas every time i get gas Quote

(when others are only $0.10 more) I like going to mini mart because if I use my smith's car (grocery store) I get 5 cents off a gallon. Quote
