Since I'm doing alot of work on my Z now (Which should have been done a little time ago). I was thinking about putting in some Basch plus 4 plugs..I was just wondering if the more experienced here has any input on these..BTW I'm running the Regular Bosch Platinum plugs now and they have been in the car since 96...

If you're replacing the plugs, get some regular old AC Delco's that are intended for your car. Platinum +4 will not gain you any power at all(like their advertising suggests), so you'll be wasting nearly $40 on them.

Stay away from Bosch plugs period. They aren't designed to work with waste spark igintion systems. The electricity flowing through the resistor in two directions makes them get messed up real quick (usually under 20,000 miles). I don't know about you, but I don't like taking the plenum off that often. I'd stick with AC Delco's, and if you'd like to spend the extra money get the Rapidfire plugs.

I put +2's? onto my car and the plug was 3/8" shorter and it wouldn't reach down into the cylinder enough to fire! Stay away from all Bosch products, just ask Brian P about their O2 sensors!

hmmm... I should take them out and put delcos in then. I knew I shouldnt have listened to the one armed guy at autozone about this engine (although he knew a lot about the cavalier I used to have  )

I am running good old Autolite Plat. tipped plugs. Works great!

Don't listen to anyone who can be found at AutoZone.

Too hell with you too, ass shat

Why???

Just because I actually know what I am doing? Or is it that I don't like to hack things together by dumping a bottle of goo into something?

Pritty annoying.

I'm really tired of replacing the same alternator 2 or 3 times.

Besides other issues, don't always trust what they're saying. I know at my work, we get kickbacks for selling... shit.. basically. Many guys line their pockets by selling certain crap and don't think twice about screwing someone over. Just for example... Bosch pays us to push their +4 plugs. Fuck that.
