rshissler Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 I found a guy thats sellin a 3.1 from a pontiac (didn't get into much detail about it). he said make him an offer and he will sell it to me. He said it runs and rather well when he pulled it out. How much do you think i should offer him?? Quote
chadz34 Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 What's the mileage??? If I were you I'd wanna hear it run myself before buying it. It shouldn't cost more than 500 tops. Quote
5speedz34 Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 I agree with the 500, 3.1's are a dime a dozen. Quote
rshissler Posted April 24, 2005 Author Report Posted April 24, 2005 wow really that much? i was thinkin around 100 bucks  Quote
Stevo Posted April 24, 2005 Report Posted April 24, 2005 I feel so cheap. Â Shit you can buy a Chevette motor and tranny for $75 and toss it in a Suzuki Samurai. My bud did that a long while back. Â Now I get the feeling that these cars are no better. Quote
Guest TurboSedan Posted April 24, 2005 Report Posted April 24, 2005 $200 if it was MINT! hell you can get low mileage 3400s on ebay for around $200-$300 + shipping, why even mess with an old 3.1 MPFI in the first place? Quote
perfecseal Posted April 24, 2005 Report Posted April 24, 2005 I just bought a lower mileage 3.1 fer 75 bucks so dont offer too much more than your 100 dollers Quote
