Stevo
I'd look at other dealerships. Theres 4 GM dealers in my immediate area. 1 lists some parts not discontinued and even showed me a warehouse count leaving the other 3 looking pretty stupid. Daggar
As for Timing belts.... Pay for the damn GM orginal. Seriously it's not a part to mess with!
95 3-4
I would take that damn Good Year Gatorback over the gm piece for that money all damn day The Gm piece may be a goodyear lower than gatorback line or gates rubber which is also a lower quality belt. Doing timing belts I have found the Honda dealer Oem Gates belt to be lower in price than autozones lowest priced kelly springfield belt and 1/2 the price of the gatorback, I use the Honduh parts $17 for honda gates, $34 for Autozone Good Year Gatorback I would also find out if Autozone has TIMKEN brand idlers bearings since Timken has been making the best bearings in america for over 100 years and the zone has been peddling them, Probably also half the price for a better or at the very least equivilent product. F GM and their alienate the consumer business plan I would not say the same about low priced 1 year warranty Autozone remanufactured starters and alternators, The lifetime is fine tho. Po' folks cant afford and may not need the best on their beaters so Autozones Wal-Mart business model has obviously done them well, I see they now own AllData
