Brian P Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 That L67 swap must be looking pretty good for you terryk2003 - Jeff L. yeah..BUT, i don't have the $$ to be doing it yet though...i was hoping this 3100 with only 72k miles would last a little longer...@ least to 100k... 119k on mine. If my engine started doing surging like that I'd first be checking for a broken or loose vacuum line and go from there. Quote

1990lumina Posted April 23, 2005 Author Report Posted April 23, 2005 Damn that is quite low  I've got the equivalent of alomost 90,000miles now...this car has to lat me till I'm done school...perferably post second school as well if that is what I end up doing. I'm thinking apprenticeship though, so if I don't have to drive far for work the car should last me I hope. I wanna get around 250,000KM outta her so around 150,000miles or so... Quote

Then there's the one coming off the canister purge solenoid that's one piece with the PCV tube which gets vacuum right next to the throttle body (it's held down by the black throttle cable bracket) then the line going to the tranny. Then of course the line going from the plenum (near the alt) to the HVAC flow controls and vacuum resevoir under the battery. Quote

GP1138 Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 I know my temp gauge is ~20* high. It was reading around 210* when Tech II said it was really 190*... Quote
