Differences between the 95+ DSM T-25 and the TGP T-25

In case anyone was wondering. Here is a 95+ DSM (Eclipse/Talon) T-25. It appears only the center section is the same, but the compressor/turbine is very different.

how much different is the turbo to down pipe flange? bolt on or cut and weld?

Well, depending on how good you can weld, it shouldn't be impossible. But I'd say in the end you'll spend more money/time doing this instead of rebuilding your T25. Not to mention the A/R ratios will be different, so it may not spool up fast enough...or fall on its face at high RPM.

 

Are you looking to do this to your car, or are you replacing a T25 for a TGP?

i want a larger t-3 or equivalent. the way it looks after the chip and heads the tgp stocker is about maxxed at 260hp. I am aiming for a 300whp.

i found a saab 900 unit for $250 have any idea what kind of turbo it iS? fmic also :wink:

chances are its a T3 turbo..

 

If you guys are looking for a T3 i know where to get 2 of them. I think he wants ~$175US each for them.
