Kalgorn Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 Took about an hour because the bumpers were a bitch and the dealership tag was more like 35 stickers because each letter was an individual sticker. Not only that but the stickers were really thin so they broke off easily... but it's done and it's looks so much cleaner. Unfortunately the front still looks like shit. The damage on the front that I'd like to fix: BEFORE: AFTER: I had to get it washed because the car was so dirty. My mom had a free car wash thing for a local place so I went there: All clean: I removed the "LUMINA" above Z34 also. Much nicer: BEFORE: AFTER: I plan to fix the front bumper. I'm going to sand it all down and do a rattle can job on it. I was talking to a friend of mine and he said he did a rattle can job on his Camaro's door and it turned out great. I also noticed later that day that I missed a small bit in the corner because the stripe started to rip. I corrected it and continued pulling but it left a bit behind and I forgot to go back to it. I also forgot to remove "LUMINA" above the "Z34" on the back. Another day. Quote
slick Posted April 20, 2005 Report Posted April 20, 2005 Much cleaner and sleek looking in my opinion. Looks like your rear bumper has the same problem as mine- Fading paint. Quote

And it turned out pretty well. Im going to take some pics once I detail my car in a little bit. Quote

It's not too bad but it's definately noticecable. I even tried that Back To Black stuff and it didn't work as well as I had hoped. I plan to fix the front bumper. Post 'em up when you get the chance. I'd like to see how it looks. I'd love to repaint my hood too because of all the chips but it's so much surface area. I think it would be tough to do a rattle can job. Quote
