'96 five spokes on a '97+ Grand Prix?

Yes same bolt pattern and different offset. They will work fine on the new GP's however they will stick out a little farther than the regular 97+ GP wheels due to the different offset. They are wider however, allowing a wider tire. However, you can't take a 5 spoke from a 97+ and put it on a pre 97 because the offset goes the other way and the wheels hit the calipers.

I sold TGP rims to a 97+ GTP owner. He said they fit fine but since they were 8" wide, the rears (I think it was the rears) stuck out from the body and he was looking for some 7" wheels to try.

To bad the five spoke is only 6.5" wide........that means the big meaty tire can only be a 225.

The 97+ 5 spoke is 6.5, the 94-96 5 spoke is 7". And my dad has 245's on his '02 GTP with the stock wheels and no problems...
