Redfox340
Ok, we all know that the Getrag 282 will bolt up to the DOHC. But without any major modifications... can you stuff the DOHC under the hood of a Beretta? - RedFox340
Vegeta
nope. The engine bay isnt deep enough, and the width isnt going to make the belt easy. It takes MAJOR work, aka cutting and welding to even think about fitting it. Same with the J body. I wouldnt be using a W body with the DOHC if I could use a J body. I prefer the room and interior of the W bodies anywya but the weight isnt too practical without the space reason.
Redfox340
Vegeta, Ok, thanks... I had a guy that e-mailed me that wanted to do a swap out for a LQ1. Wouldn't that be the coolest?!?! L-Body DOHC? Hmmm.... - RedFox340
eclipse5302
Yup, Ben is right...no room. Here is a guy who is (was) trying it. Read about it, click on the right hand side on the "3.4 DOHC Cav" button. He had to cut/remove all kinds of stuff. Quite a project. http://www.geocities.com/jeremygonyou/ Jason
