true cold air intake

hey, i've found someone who will make a nice warm air intake for my 93 cutty 3.1L, but i was wondering if there was a way to make a cold air intake. what do i have to do? does someone already make one?

try the SEARCH feature first of all...this has been discussed COUNTLESS times...

 

you will have to relocate your battery to the trunk...then make a pipe run down into the fenderwell where the battery is now...

no you don't...

 

if you want to fab up some-thing yourself (like on my silver z)

 

most people do the relocation thing tho.

thanx, i think i might look into it...what kinda piping should i use and where can i find it?

local hardware store

 

even autozone, and hack up the stupid 50$ ones they got. those work good, if you pipe em right.

okay, so tell me...what are the performance differences between a cold and warm air intake?? i mean, obviously cold air is better, but how much?? how much power increase will i see with the warm air intake??

None really, but cold air intakes make anywhere between 1-7 hp.
